Amphitheater Students and Families 🐾

We are right around the corner from the first day of the 2025-2026 school year. Our entire staff have been working tirelessly for the past four days getting ready and they are so excited to welcome students back to campus. Here are some important reminders as we get started.

First Day Bell Schedule

On Wednesday, August 6, we will follow the M/T/Th/F Regular Bell Schedule. Students will start class at 9:00 AM and end their day at 4:05 PM. This is an exception to the normal Wednesday Early Out bell schedule. We have attached the 25-26 SY bell schedule for future reference.

Students IDs

In order to maintain a safe learning environment, all students are expected to wear or display student identification at all times on campus. Student IDs will also be required for entrance to athletic events (for the student price) and other school sponsored extra-curricular events. As a result, student will not be allowed onto campus or into events without their school issued student ID (obtained at walk-through registration). If a student shows up to school without their ID (they forgot it at home, lost it, etc.), they will be escorted to the bookstore to purchase a replacement ID. Students will be charged $5 for every replacement ID during the school year. Please encourage your student to keep their ID in their backpack or with their learning materials at all time.

IMPORTANT: New State Law Concerning Personal Device/Cell Phones in Schools

The State of Arizona passed a law that limits personal device/cell phone use for students during the school day. Students may use them before school, during lunch, and after school. All other times during the school day, students must have their phone turned off and stored out of sight (backpack, etc.). We have attached a graphic explaining this new law. We appreciate all students’ and families’ efforts to adhere to this new state law.

Attendance Matters!

Statistics show that student/teacher relationships are one of the strongest school-related measures of student success. Without students engaging with teachers, opportunities to create positive ties between teacher and student are reduced and/or eliminated. Encourage your student to attend and engage with his/her teacher every day.

On time Attendance Matters: Student attendance is a major indicator of student success at school and beyond. Research shows that students that are tardy to class not only miss valuable curriculum, they are also a distraction to the students that are in class on time ready to learn.  If a student is 15 minutes late to class twice a week, it works out to the equivalent of missing 9 hours of class per semester. This creates a difficult learning gap that can be prevented by attending class on time, every day to learn. Also, students that create a habit of being late when in primary and secondary school are more apt to lose employment later in life due to the habit of being late/tardy. We want our students to build positive habits that will help them succeed in their post-secondary lives.

Regular, on time attendance builds strong habits and keeps students on track for success. Let’s work together to make sure your learner is in school every day possible. If there’s anything we can do to support your students’ success, please reach out.

We are looking forward to a successful 2025-2026 school year. Go Panthers!!
